Arrive. Recognise Your Strengths. Move Forward.

Would you like to advance professionally in Germany, but don’t yet know exactly which path suits you? Would you like to start a job, vocational training, further qualification or continuing education, but still need guidance or preparation?

Perhaps you would like to return to work after a period of family responsibilities, a longer break or a period without employment.
You may need support with applications, language skills, computer skills, dealing with public authorities, questions about residence status or work permits, or the recognition of your qualifications.

Passgenau – Women in Employment and Vocational Training (PFiA) supports women with a refugee background in the Rhine-Main region in their professional and personal development. Together, we explore which opportunities best suit your circumstances and identify the next steps that make sense for you.

Together, we look at:

What skills and experience do you already have?
What would you like to achieve?
What strengths do you bring?
What opportunities are available in Germany?
What next steps fit your situation?

Passgenau helps you gain a better understanding of your career opportunities, recognise your own strengths and develop a pathway that fits your future.

How Can Passgenau Support You?

Passgenau can support you if you want to move forward in your career but are not yet sure which pathway in Germany is realistic and right for you.

The project can also support you if you want to start a job, vocational training, further qualification, continuing education or an educational pathway and still need guidance, preparation or ongoing support.

We can support you with applications, CVs, job interviews and finding suitable opportunities. Passgenau can also support you if you want to improve your German language skills, computer skills or basic professional skills.

You can also discuss questions relating to childcare, family matters, public authorities, residence status, work permits, asylum procedures, recognition of qualifications or other important concerns.

Psychosocial challenges can also be addressed if they are making everyday life, personal stability or your career pathway more difficult.

Recognise Your Strengths. Find Your Path. Shape Your Future.

At Passgenau, you will find a safe space for exchange, guidance and mutual support. Together, we explore your experiences, skills and aspirations for the future. This can help you build confidence, better understand your options and develop the right next steps for your professional and personal journey.

In discussion groups, group sessions, workshops and coaching, a range of topics can be explored, including: identifying your strengths and career goals; confidence and empowerment; balancing family, everyday life and work; women’s rights and opportunities in Germany; gender roles and expectations; personal life planning; communication, presentation and self-advocacy; and coping with uncertainty, pressure or family expectations.

You can also connect with other women, share experiences and benefit from mutual support. Passgenau helps you develop new perspectives, make more confident decisions and gain greater agency in shaping your professional and personal journey.

A Path That’s Right for You

At Passgenau, the focus is on finding a career pathway that is truly right for you — one that matches your skills, circumstances, family responsibilities, starting point and next goals.

Multilingual Support

Counselling and support are language-sensitive and, where possible, available in multiple languages. The aim is to ensure that you understand important information and can make informed decisions about your next steps.
